Personal History
Just a small town girl at the age of 25 living life to its fullest. Just completed my second Off-Road race season. I am more that impressed and happy with how far I have come in such short amount of time.
Even though I might be a newcomer still, I have improved quickly. I have attended all the Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA) races, Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Club (RMMC), along with some Alberta Motorsports Association (AMSA) races. While attending these series I have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing riders that have become close friends.
This 2017 race season I decided to join the RMMC committee while volunteering my time towards helping organizing race series, trail maintenance, and hosting race events. While volunteering my time this allowed me to have more input as to what goes on in the club, therefor decided to host our very first “Team Races” and “Big Dog Race” through Alberta Enduro Riders (AER), which was a great success. To inform you what and who is AER, I am the founder of Alberta Enduro Riders with the assistance of my spouse Cole Reis. AER was created for many reasons. To keep all off-road riders updated on all up coming races, pictures and direction on new and current riding areas, current weather/ban updates, a place for people new to Alberta looking for others to ride with, planning group rides, potentially a club where I will be able to host riding clinics for kids through, and teach survival courses such as Bear Awareness. We have had a great success with the new Facebook page and Instagram. Also, hosting AER’s very first Team Race and Big Dog race with the Rocky Club has really promoted the off-road riding more. My goal is to try and keep the Off-Road riding in Alberta growing. This is such a great family oriented sport that we want to keep the riding areas we have from also being shut down so we can all enjoy them for many years to come.
There is nothing I love more than an adventure out west to the biggest mountain tops I can find. I live for the thrill and adventure. Being so involved with the sport allows me to share my number one passion with all my enduro friends. I am beyond excited for the future and see where I can go. My goals of becoming an all around skilled rider are becoming reality. I hope to become apart of Team Canada and ride at ISDE within the next 5-8 years. At this rate with only have two race seasons under my belt and doing well, I feel that I can make this happen. When I am not on my bike, you will find me training hard at my gym faciality ABSOLUTE FITNESS in Red Deer. Since attending personal training classes at Absolute, it has changed my riding skills drastically. Being a shorter and light rider, I must work extra hard to become a more advanced rider. It was time to build some strength and endurance if I wanted to meet my goal. That it has shown.
Thank you for taking the time to read only a narrowed down impression on myself and what I do for the off-road rider’s community. Please check out my personal and AER Instagram and Facebook to collect more insight.
