Personal History
Well ill start off by saying My name is Courtney. I grew up around adventurous activities such as camping, hiking, snowmobiling, drag racing, snowboarding and my most favorite is racing my dirt bike!! And its wonderful to have a very supportive family behind me!! I've only had one bad wreck when i was 13 i broke my back on a little cr100f and learned from that. My little sister is like my little pit crew she helps me set up and runs my starting blocks to me very helpful!! My husband hat has helped me get to the start line all together if it wasnt for him i wouldnt have my bike to even race with! This is my first year racing definitely not my last!! I love riding and racing!
Riding Goals
Since this is my first year racing i am a beginner hoping to learn the tricks trades of racing over the years.. I would love to be up on the mix fighting for first. So Goals: Train harder, Ride faster , Focus, Be healthy and just have a fun time! The summer of 2015 is going to be one heck of a challenge. Having never raced motocross competitively, until recently, I have some things I'd like to focus on this season. Number one is rider safety, I love to compete but I also want to be a clean rider, and aware of who and what is going on around me. I'm not used to riding with 40 bikes all in full force. I want to ride my races & focus on finishing those races safely. This includes watching those flags, again I'm used to zoning out & riding laps forever before even considering stopping. The number two thing I want to focus on is that gate drop, my starting stance, and taking off smoothly. I 'm a beginner racer after all and I see it being a struggle. The third thing I'm focusing on is staying in my line around corners, and not dropping speed. Overall my riding goals for the 2015 season are to ride safe, improve on the technicalities, and finish strong.
Competitive Highlights
This year 2015 is my rookie season I hope to achieve a lot of good memories and getting better at tiding and skills. Cant say to much after all i am a rookie!!!!
