Personal History

My name is Courtney Campbell and I am 23 years old from North Canton, Ohio. I started riding in April 2009 on a stock Raptor 250 that my boyfriend bought for me because I showed an interest in racing. We soon realized that this is something I wanted to do the best that I could. I raced about 10 races on the Raptor and we figured it was time to get on a 450. Thanks to a friend of ours, Tim Farr, I had a temporary Honda 450 to ride and race.. I became quite comfortable on the bigger quad so we searched for a nice used LTR450. In March of 2010 we finally found one. I raced some races in 2010 and fared quite well. I will be posting as many race results as I can find when our local organization updates their site. When I started this, I never even thought to keep track of my results. I will add that I am attending school to obtain my Vet  Tech degree and I work a full time job.

Riding Goals

This year I plan to put as much effort into my racings as life (School, and a full time job) will allow me to. It is tough to afford on a limited budget! I plan on racing as many local races as possible, as well as a couple of the closer national races. I just want to stay healthy, learn, and become a threat in my perspective classes. With the family, friends, and my boyfriend behind me, I think this year will be a great year.. I also feel this will be a great year to start promoting companies and products that I use and believe in..

Competitive Highlights

Racing at our local track, there are about 10-15 regular girls that race our Womens Quad class. Many of them also compete on a national level and have been riding most of their lives. In the short time that I have been riding, I am usually in the top 5. I have pulled off a few top 3 finishes which is quite an accomplishment. The highlight that stands out in my head is when I pulled a holeshot on several national calibur girls. Ive also been the first female rider to jump the triples and bigger step ups are some of our local tracks.
