Personal History
I work Full Time as a Maintenance Manager for a beverage company in Fort Worth, TX. I started riding dirtbikes when I was four and racing when I was 13 years old. I raced NEMA in New England from the age 13-16. After that life took over and I worked full time. Got married and divorced twice. I started riding street bikes with lately Harley Davidsons. I have rode almost all the lower 48 states except for 3. A year ago I got back on dirt with a used 2007 YZ250f. This just made me hunger for competition and started racing ScrambleCross, did ok with top 3 or 4 in 2 classes. I decided that was enough and wanted to race the TORN series here locally. I went to a Saturday practice and broke my right wrist. Took about 6 oaths to heel up and started racing again. This time on a 2011 yz250f and a 2014 yz450f. I raced the rest of ScrambleCross ( 250 novice, Over 40 and 450 Beginner) along with a TORN race ( Sportsman). Currently racing the TORO series, Dec 10) I placed 3rd in the Heavy C Class. I plan on racing this entire series.
Riding Goals
Currently racing the Novice classes in both ScrambleCross and TORO. I will be moving up to Intermediate or expert next race series.
The plan for 2018 is to Race the TORO series ( 5 races), ScrambleCross ( 18 races), a few TORN and TCCRA races
Competitive Highlights
Finished 2017 ScrambleCross series with 4th overall in the championship points in both 250 Novice and Over 40 classes.
TORO the 3rd on Dec 10 was a great first race for me and I will improve on that. The top 3 in this class where only 1 minute apart for the 95 minute race. However I was over 6 minutes ahead of 3rd.
