Personal History

My name is Cortney Roewer. I have been racing dirt bikes competitively for almost 12 years. I currently am racing Womens Expert and 250 Intermediate classes. Ever since I was little I wanted to be a professional motocross racer and at the end of this year I plan on having my pro card. School and motocross have always been my top priorities and will always remain that way. Choosing between a school dance or a motocross race had never been an issue for me...it was always the race no matter what. I work and train really hard so I can excel in this sport and continue getting faster. I plan on one day very soon on becoming the WMX number one plate holder and no one can tell me otherwise.:) On September 8, 2012 I got my AMA pro card and raced my 1rst WMX pro race at the Lake Elsinore National so 2013 here I come.

Riding Goals

My goals in racing are to have my pro card by the end of this year and race as many WMX nationals I can next year. My goal for nationals is to finish top ten in overall points in my first year. Also, I would like to qualify for Womens Endurocross in X Games next year and go for the gold.

Competitive Highlights

I finished Fourth overall in Mammoth Motocross this year. I am 2010 Women's B WORCS champion. In 2011 I got the 2nd place WORCS Women's A championship. I don't like giving up on races, so I ended up racing almost 10 hours of the Glen Helen 12 hour by myself gaining an entire lap back and finishing third. Visit my web site www.cortneyroewer.com
