Personal History
I am a sophomore at Caro High School. I've been riding for 10 years and racing for 5 years. I try to ride at least 3 times a week. There is a practice track behind our house, so it makes it very easy for me to get my ride time in. On weekends when we aren't racing, my Dad takes my brother and I to the local tracks to practice. I have a younger brother who also races. I enjoy riding and playing with computers & electronics. This past season was a rough one. I broke my leg last fall and couldn't finish the season; and didn't get much winter riding in because of the fracture. So when Spring came I was anxious to get back into the swing of things, however, 3 weeks into the season I broke two bones in my wrist. I'm in transition between a YZ125 and a YZ250 I'm not sure which I like better so I'm riding both. I'm looking forward to a much better season next year.Riding Goals
My biggest goal for the 2008 season is to NOT break any bones! I will be focusing on my starts and I'm aiming to be in the top 15% of my class. I know this can be done with hard work and determination. I'm not afraid to take on new challenges and try new techniques in order to improve my riding skills. I'd like to start a training schedule over the winter months with some weightlifting. With hard work I'll be able to handle my 250 a little easier.
