Personal History

My name is Corey Dolch and I was born June 4, 2000. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and extreme sports. I have been BMX biking for the last two years am always practicing my techniques and tricks. Last year a close friend of mine invited me to ride their small Pitt bike at their grand moms home and I fell in love. I had found my passion. Early year I worked hard to convince my parents to let me try my hand at motocross racing and in February we signed up for AMA and MAMA.  Every week I work hard in my honors classes at Northeast High and train physically to ride. I have been practicing every chance I get at riding for fun and riding to race. In my off time I ride BMX with my friends in the neighborhood. Until this year I was an active lacrosse player and basketball player, but my passion for motocross has taken over.

I am an outgoing kid and have many friends. I have made even more through the MAMA family and am hoping to get my time in at some clinics this winter. I feel I am blessed to have an older brother, grandfather, younger sister and parents who support me. We leave on Friday to race and spend the weekend together as a family. I couldn't have wished for more, with the exception to WIN every time. My older brother has even taken a lead for me and started his racing career as well, although he is not as good as I am. I am excited to see what the coming years hold in store for me and look forward to continue this journey God has provided.

Riding Goals

My goal as a rider is to continue to learn and prefect my riding techniques. I plan on participating in as many clinics as I can over the offseason while training physically in the gym. I plan next year to race in the 80B class and the Super Mini class. I would like to move up to a 125 and by my third year racing be competitive on a 250. I know hard work and training will pay off as it always does!

Competitive Highlights

I started this year at the end of the pack. I had problems with the hole shot and my jumps. I have gained confidence and experience and in the 10 races that I have ridden in, I have progressed with each and everyone. I took a nasty spill as well this year at Speed City which kept me out of the next two races that followed. I had a lot of ground to catch up when I returned, but catch up I did. In my first year I have moved form 19th to 1st and should take 4th in The MAMA division out of 27 riders. I am happy with my progress and while I would have preferred to take 1st in my 1st year, I am confident that it will come.
