Personal History
Hello my name is Corbin Taylor, I have been riding dirt bikes since my dad put me on a TTR50 when I was six years old. When I got a little older I was ready to get competitive. My first race was an arena cross in January of 2020 and I've been hooked on racing ever since. I have a six year old brother that also races, but really its a sport my entire family has grown to love. Race weekends are always our favorite weekends!
Riding Goals
I want to continue to improve in my technique and excel in my competitiveness. Currently I'm working hard on my confidence in clearing jumps and learning to go faster through the corners. I'm always eager to learn and improve my skills so that I can ride (safety) for many more years.
Competitive Highlights
I competed in my first motocross series this year, The Big Side Of Texas series done by Brownlee Racing. I was able to attend all 8 events in which I placed 1st out of 62 competitors in the Pure Beginner Mini Open. I also rode in the 85 9-11 class placing 13th out of 43, the 65 10-11 class placing 9 out of 43 and the 65 open where I placed 18th out of 57. I was also able to make all the state qualifiers for my district and earned a ticket to the AMA Texas State Championship where I got 5th in the 65/85 7-11 class.
