Personal History
My name is Cooper Selva people call me Coop! I am 15 year old and Im in Grade 10.
My dad is a hockey player and has coached me most of my life. My mom is a dance teacher and owns a dance studio so my parents have always taught me to be active and a hard worker.
My Dad bought me my first bike when I was 10 years old, it was a Honda CRF 100, and I just loved it and fell in love with riding. I am now riding 2018 Yamaha YZ 125.
I am a competitive and supportive person and I am also a team player. I work part time at a motorcycle store called Spunkys. I love everything to do with dirt bikes and when Im not riding I am watching Youtube videos on riding and how to fix my bike and learn new skills.
Riding Goals
My goals for 2019 season are to race hard improve my skills, and to try to get on podium, but most importantly be a good sport and be happy weather I come in last for first place. I’m gonna race A class in 2019 against intermediate riders.
Competitive Highlights
I raced my first season of enduro this year. In this series called vancouver Island Hare Scramble Series as a novice rider.
I came in late to the 2018 Hare Scramble Series only participating 3 races out of 8. I have reached the podium twice out of my 3 races I did. Placing 2nd at the Knockout, 4th at the grind and 1st and the crown royal. I also got the hard charger award for the knockout race. I finished up the the season with a 6th overall.
