Personal History

I am 14 years old and live in the East Bay Area of California. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 3 years old and tried my friends PW50 for the first time. I haven't stopped riding since that day.

I am very lucky that my parents support my riding habit. They are always ready to take me to our local track to practice, coordinate trail rides with friends, take me to races all over Northern CA, fix and maintain my bikes, and occasionally upgrade my bike as I grow and get better.

I have one younger sister who isn't into the sport at all, but is always there to cheer me on and tell me what SHE thinks I should be doing get better!

Riding Goals

2020 was my first full season of racing in Hare Scrambles for District 36. It was a tough year because we started the season off strong on my KTM 65, but Covid 19 stopped the season just as I was getting used to racing.

After a few months, the season started up again, but I grew out of my 65 and had to tackle my new and more powerful YZ 85. I was also able to race my Honda 110 in the Clutchless Class which I will continue to compete in for the 2021 Season.

Also, my goal for 2021 is to become more aggressive on my YZ 85, get used to its power and use what I've learned from older riders that help me out at my practice sessions. I ended the 2020 season with a few 2nd's and 3rd's, I'd like to start getting 1st place and improve my times from last year.

UPDATE 2025:

In the spring of 2023 I tore my ACL/MCL at a D36 Hare Scramble and did not return to racing until Late spring 2024. That Fall I advanced in the Big Wheel class from B to A and then I out grew small bikes. I began racing in the adult series (C-200) in the Fall of 2024 (intermittantly) but had some early success as the bigger bike just felt like it fit me better. In the spring of this year, I started having better results and took the overall in 3 of my last 4 races. The one I didn't win, I went off course but did have the fastest lap times of the race after I got back on course. I ended the spring series in Second overall and feel like I could have won it but I missed a few races of the series so I fell a handfull of poinst short.

This fall I will be advancing to the B-200 class and hope to continue putting in the work to get good results.
