Personal History
I started riding recreationally when I was 11 years old. My first bike was a Yamaha 1987 DT200 and was taught by my uncle. I fell in love with riding from there. From the age of 11 to 14 I rode to more bike while improving my skills on a Suzuki RM125 and DRZ125. This year was my first year back riding due to my junior and semi-pro lacrosse consuming the majority of my time the past 8 years. I love riding my dirt bike as much as possible and always push myself to be better at it and keep improving.
I work full time as a apprentice carpenter for Oak Ridge Construction and work in the greater Ottawa area doing custom additions and renovations. I ride my 2016 Honda CRF230F as much as I can and train 5 days a week at the local gym. I carry myself as a professional in everything I do, I am very competitive and in return I do not settle for anything sub par. I strive to do the best in everything I do and that carries over into my dirt biking.
Riding Goals
My goals for this up coming year competition wise are:
- Compete in the Off-road Ontario Enduros series and try to finish in the top 15 of every race.
- Compete in local motocross events at Kennelly Mountain MX Track and Sand Del Lee MX Park.
My personal goals for 2017 are:
- Become a member of the Bytown Motorcycle Club and participate in local ride days at Calabogie and Limerick Forest.
- Buy a membership to Sand del Lee Mx Park to train as often as possible as well as, train in their camps offered through out the year to improve my skills.
- Increase my conditioning levels to be able to compete 100% in all of my competitions.
- Upgrade to a larger bike 250 and up
Competitive Highlights
The Woody's Enduro this summer was my first enduro competition. I felt that it being my first enduro race I got to feel out how to carry myself through the race giving me knowledge as to where I stood going into next season. I thought I'd did well competing in the largest class and being on one of the smaller sized bikes. Going into next season bringing the knowledge from this race I plan on bringing a much stronger compete level.
