Personal History
I am proud and privileged to share that I am a native to Northern Michigan. I grew up on an 80 acre farm and have lived for the great outdoors since birth. I am the first born to my wonderful, wise, and unconditionally supportive parents, Bob and Kim and the proud, older brother to my sister, Maddie. I was first introduced to motorcycles at the impressionable age of 6 and fell in love immediately. I began racing motocross at age 9 and before my family or I knew it, the Sunday's pitting out of the pickup truck turned into long weekends traversing hundreds of miles in the RV in pursuit of amateur national qualifiers and new adventures. Alongside my love for off-road motorcycle racing, I find joy in mountain biking, running, bicycle touring, snowboarding, parkour/free-running, and travel, both domestic and abroad. I have seized the opportunity to travel to 7 countries and 36 states. A quote and methodology that inspires me is "Whether you think you can or can't -- you're right."
The gap in time on my career results directly reflects a period dedicated to school and travel.
Riding Goals
In 2016, I will be competing in the Michigan District 14 Harescramble series. I will also be competing in several of the district 14 Enduro rounds to gain experience in another challenging discipline. My goal is to win the 3 Hour Expert class Harescramble championship as well as place in the top of my class at the Enduro rounds. Looking ahead to the future, I will be working to compete in the GNCC series as a professional.
Alongside my motorcycle racing season, I will be pursuing my passion for Enduro mountain bike racing, competing in the Lake Superior Gravity Series as well as several other regional events.
