Personal History
I live in Helena, MT and just graduated from High School. I work @ a sports store, but did work at Montana Marine Motorsports until winter. I have been riding for 15 years and my father rides also. I had a cousin die from motocross when I was 9 years old, it was tough to continue racing, but I pushed on and I race for my cousin's legacy. A lot of younger riders looked up to my cousin, he was a great role model, I want to be that role model for the younger riders at the races. My other hobbies are fishing, hunting, and snowboarding when I am not working or racing. I have a big family and they come to almost all of our races. The nicest thing about our Montana series, which is HCMA is that we are all one big family.
Riding Goals
My riding goals for the upcoming year is to qualify for LL for 2015 in the B class for 450, 250 or Open 2-Stroke. To qualify would be a great goal of mine to say I did it. Over the past year I took 2nd in the 250 Pro class and 3rd in the Open Pro class. This year I was awarded the Rider Of The Year Award. Every rider votes on who they think stood out the most over the year on and off of the track. I was lucky enough to finally receive this award.
Competitive Highlights
I advanced into the Pro class in our series when I was 15. Last year was my 1st year starting in the Pro classes, so was a little nerveous as I was racing with people that I have looked up to since I was little. I missed a couple of races last year, but was still able to finish 2nd in the 250 Pro, and 3rd in the Open Pro class for our year end rankings. I have also been voted by the MT riders in our series as the Jr Rider of the Year 2010, which was a great honor as it is after a fallen rider.
