About Me

I am 15 and a half years old about to turn 16 in February . I am a 10th grader and I attend Method Online Academy School. I finished 1st semester with a 4.0 GPA and that has boosted my confidence in more ways than one as I struggled alot in public school and was very anxious, and riding was my outlet and it gave me peace and relaxation . I started at 4 years old on a cobra 50 and PW 50. I became obsessed with riding after my first time at the track in Carnegie. I was at the track every weekend with my dad. Unfortunately after a couple years we moved as my dad is in the Army and he is now retired which is how Im able to go and ride as much as I do. When we moved to So Cal. I started pursuing baseball and football. I did enjoy playing those sports but I knew it wasnt what I wanted to do I didn’t have a passion for it. When the 2020 football season ended I decided I wanted to put a pause on playing football and start focusing on riding again. In november 2021 I told my dad I wanted to ride again. So we searched for a bike and within a week I was riding a KLX 125. After a month it was decided that it wasnt fast enough or enough power so we went up to a KX 112 supermini which happened to be one of Jett Reynolds super mini bikes #79. I wanted to keep that number as it grew alot of attention at the track but I knew if I wanted to get recognized for my skills I needed to have my own number. My own label. Thats when 26 became mine. Its a special number in many ways. It was my dads high school football number and also my birthday numbers, plus it adds up to 8 which is a lucky number and meaning in my family. I quickly outgrew it and went to a KTM 125 SX. then 6 months later I went to the 2021 YZ250 F.

Once I got back on the track it took a couple months before I got back into the groove of it. I was overly excited when I was able to get about a foot of air, to now hitting triples on the main track.

I was finally ready to start racing. In october 2022 lake elsinore was going to host a 4 series race. I placed 2nd even after getting a rocky start at the gate drop. I felt so confident after that. So I started practicing extra hard to prepare for Novembers race. The day before the race I was going off a lip and the front wheel wobbled and when I landed I flipped over the handlebars. They caught me under my chest gear. I went to hospital with cuts and bruises and I had a small laceration in my spleen and luckily it was small enough to heal on its own. My first thought was..is my bike OK! I was out of commission for over 6 weeks and as soon as I was cleared to ride I hopped right back on the track. A little slow at first but I picked up where I left off. No fear.

My goal is to become a pro. I ride every chance I get. I enter any races I can but because of me being in school its very hard to travel and enter races. I am grateful for any chance I get to ride and race. I would love to represent your company on and off the track.. I want to inspire all the little kids at the track. When they follow me around and give me high fives and they ask me for advice on jumping and riding. It makes me feel like Im already making a difference. I am very dedicated and will do whatever it takes to make it to the top and pursue my dream.

I have been lucky enough to meet and ride around with many pros at the lake elsinore track. They have given me advice and tips on how to be a better myself. We even will race each other when they have free time, All of them are very nice and helpful.

I was recently asked to represent a small clothing company I was happy to help them out they made a small video . @jayz_kikzzz jesse acevedo
