Personal History
My name is Colton and I am 7 years old and I love to ride my KTM 50 dirt bike. I wish we could ride dirtbikes at recess. I got my first bike on my 4th birthday. It was a Suzuki. I liked it a lot, especially because that's what Travis Pastrana had. At Christmas, my dad sold my Suzuki to my friend and got me a Honda CRF 50. I liked this bike too. I started racing at Daniel's Ridge MX in Taylorsville, NC on this bike. I used it for motocross and hare scrambles, but really wanted a KTM. For my 5th birthday, my mom and dad bought my a KTM Pro Jr. 50. My mom and dad let me have a dirtbike birthday party. I had 8 of my friends who all have dirtbikes over to ride on my mini-track. Dad also built some hare scramble trails for us too. We had a blast! This year, for my birthday, I went to the AMA Supercross in Atlanta with two of my riding buddies and our families. I hope to ride in it someday. I've been practicing and improving my riding on the KTM. It's super fast and I love it! I've started racing the Mideast 2013 Race Series and also raced my first GNCC. I've had couple of crashes but have managed to stay in the top 5 at every race. I'm working on that first place finish and know it will happen soon!
July 2014 ~ We're on summer break, but I'm practicing around my house. Right now I'm first in my class for the GNCC series and MidEast series. My biggest win was 1st place in my class and 3rd overall at the GNCC at Loretta Lynn's. I'm hoping to do more motocross and qualify for Loretta Lynn's for motocross next year. I'm also hoping to race at the AMA Supercross race in Atlanta this year. I can't wait to start back at the end of August - even though that means school is starting back too!
Riding Goals
2014 - I want to lead the overall points for my class for MidEast and GNCC. I want to ride more motocross.
Competitive Highlights
For the 2014 race season, I am first in my class for MidEast HareScramble Series and GNCC Series. I'm hoping to win both series for this year.
