Rider Updates
Apr 28 2023
I was the D17 AMA champion, MXC Woods Racing Champion, Fox Valley Offroad Champion for 2022. I can't wait to get the racing started up this year. We are relocating to Ohio in June so I will be riding a lot of different series this year. I will be at most of the GNCC's though. I am focusing in on hare scrambles this year and just using the moto cross for practice.

I am officially the 65 beginner AMA D17 and WFO Promotions Champion for 2021. I look forward to an awesome year riding in the 65 advance class. I recently just bought a KTM 85 also to start working on for next year. I plan to ride hare scrambles and GP's this year. I plan to make it to a few GNCC's, IXCR's as well as D17 and WFO Promotion races. I can't wait to see what this next year will bring!

I rode at the GNCC Ironman in Crawfordsville, IN this past weekend. I ended up 29th out of 62 riders and 209 out of approximately 340 riders overall. It was a gnarly race, lots of mud and not ideal conditions after it rained most of Friday. I am happy with this performance, I was hoping to get a top 20 finish, didn't quite make it but I rode hard and had a lot of fun. I went down a few times on my last lap, but overall had a really good race! On to "The Race" this weekend in Morrison, Illinois!
I am also advancing to the 65 advanced class for the rest of the year to get myself ready for this class next year. I have the points wrapped up in both series that I was racing in for 65 beginner. I should be the AMA D17 65 beginner champion and the WFO Series 65 beginner champion! Now it's time to start putting in the work for next year!

Last weekend we ran a D17 HS in White City, IL. I was first headed into the woods and led the rest of the race from there. This track was a lot of fun with about a four minute lap. By the end of the race I had lapped everyone but 2nd place and I was only about 12 seconds from lapping him. This track had a pretty tough uphill and downhill that were a lot of fun for me! This weekend we are headed to Mt. Pleasant, IA for another D17 HS.

We ran a D17 hare scramble this weekend in Plainview, IL. I was fourth off the start, by the time we entered the woods I was in second. I charged hard for first place in the first few laps, when I went to make the move for first, I lost control and my buddy and me both went down hard, wide open in 4th gear. I was able to gather myself and get back out on the track, ending in 4th place for the race. We are heading for some SX this weekend and then a hare scramble the next weekend.

We went to an AMA D17 HS this weekend in Cuba, IL. We were hoping to catch some fresh competition. I had a little bit of a rough start and was fourth off the start. I quickly overtook 3rd and then 2nd. Shortly after that I took the 1st place spot and led the rest of the race. I had a substantial lead over my competition for the majority of the race! Track was awesome with some tight trails that made me have to have my passing game on point when getting into the traffic of people I was lapping. I am headed to a GNCC this weekend in Crawfordsville, IN.

I rode in 65 advanced class this past weeked. I was able to get a 3rd place, I was in 2nd for most of the race, had a come off and dropped into 3rd. It was close to the end of the race so I wasn't able to regain my 2nd place position. This track was tough with deep sand. We are heading to Chandlerville, Il this weekend for a hare scramble.

I hit the track yesterday for a 65 beginner hare scramble (AMA District 17) in Keithsburg, IL. I had a pretty rough start and had to battle back, made some good passes and was able to get up into fourth place on a tight track. I feel like I am seeing gains every weekend! This weekend I will ride in 65 advanced hare scramble in Prophetstown, IL.

I broke my leg in October 2020, I just recently got released. I hit my first hare scramble last weekend Feb 28th. Track conditions were tough, that combined with not riding since I broke my leg and having a new bike under me, I didn't finish where I wanted to. Thanks to all of my sponsors for the support for the 2021 race season. I am working to get my riding back up where I need it to be since I broke my leg now that I am released. I'm looking forward to a great racing season!
