Personal History

I was born into a family full of racers on August 16, 2012. I am a 5th generation racer as my Grandfather, Jack Klein Jr., was a former professional Dirt Tracker and my Mother Tori (Klein) Batton was a former professional WMX racer in the early 2000s. My father also grew up racing locally as well.

My parents put me on my sisters PW50 at 18 months old with training wheels and at the age of 2 years old I started to destroy sets of training wheels. At 3 years old my parents finally pulled the training wheels and I have been going ever since. Just 2 weeks after my 4th birthday, I raced my first race and improved with each race thereafter.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2019 race season is to qualify for Loretta Lynns Amateur Nationals in the 51cc 4-6 Shaft class and 51cc 4-6 Limited class. I also hope to make my way to Florida for the Winter Mini Os in November 2019.

My hopes are to continue to improve my skills while transitioning to a KTM 50 MINI SX as well continuing to ride my PW 50 by racing around the Midwest in 2018.

Competitive Highlights

In 2018 I attempted for the first time to qualify for Loretta Lynn's in the PW Shaft class. After overcoming some nerves and a few crashes in the 2nd moto, I was able to finish 12th over all at the regional at Sunset Ridge. 2018 was also my first year of racing my first national at the Mini O's in Gainesville, Florida. I was able to put together a 15th overall in the PW shaft class on the sx track after going 12th in the first moto. 15th in the 2nd moto after a 1st turn crash and a DNS in the 3rd moto due to a mechanical issue. 2018 also brought many 1st place trophies home in the 50 JR class during local races. In september 2017 I received PW Only's rider of the month as well.
