Personal History
Hello, my name is Collin Ross. I attend St. Cyprian's Episcopal School and I am in the 3rd grade, maintaining straight A's. I have a little sister that is 5 years old, and both my mom & dad are 37 years old. I have been around motocross since I was born because my dad has always raced and we always loved to go to the track as a family. I have been playing city league baseball almost as long as I have been riding. 2012 was my first year to play on a traveling tournament baseball team, called the Texas Tribe. Besides baseball and motocross, I love to ride bicycles and snowboard when we go to Colorado.
Riding Goals
My dad wants to go to some of the 2013 South Central Loretta Lynn Area Qualifiers, as well as the regional if we can qualify. Also, make some of the races in the Houston and Dallas areas when time allows.
Competitive Highlights
I began racing when I was four on a PW50 and won a small series called the Mini Wars in 2009. When I was 5 I got a KTM 50SX Senior. So, the first Texas Lone Star Series in 2010 I raced I had to ride the 50cc 7-8, because 12" front tires were not allowed in the 50cc 4-6, finishing 4th overall in the 50cc 7-8 and 5th in the 50cc Open 4-8. The following year when I was 6, I won both class overalls in the 2011 Texas Lone Star Series, and not turning seven until just before the last few rounds. Now I am rding a KTM 65SX, making a few races at Swan MX and and a few others in the Houston area. I haven't riden as much this year because of baseball, but hoping to race more in 2013.
