Personal History

My name is Colleen Corris. I'm 21 years old and my birthday is September 14. I'm very outgoing and have a lot of energy! I love to dance and make people laugh. I have a pretty busy schedule between going to school full time and working also. But I always find a way to fit racing into my schedule! I began riding when I was 14 and my first bike was an XR100. From there I went to a KX100 and now am back on a Honda, riding a 2008 CRF250. I began racing when I was 15 and from that moment on found a passion for the sport and love every second of it. I race every Friday night at Milford Riders, a local track in CT, and also on weekends at MSC Motocross in New York. I race the Women's class and also 250 Novice. Throughout the years, I have learned many things about myself and my bike and learned that anything is possible when you put your mind to it.

Riding Goals

My goal for the 20100 season was to get top 10 at District races.  I fulfilled my goal by getting 8th overall.  Without minor setbacks this season, I know I could've gotten top 5.  But, since I know I can do it, my goal for 2011 is top 5!

Competitive Highlights

In 2009 and 2010, I won the Overall for the Women's Class at Milford Riders.  The season at Milford consists of the Spring Series, Summer Classic, and Fall Series.  The Spring and Fall Series are each 8 races and the Summer Classic is 2 races.  In 2009, I won the overall for the Spring Series and Summer Classic and had a few minor setbacks for the Fall Series and got 3rd overall.  But with these outcomes, I still won the Series Overall! For 2010, I swept all three series and came out on top again. Now I have the plaque and Number 1 plate on display for both years.
