Personal History
Hi, my name is Colin Russell from Richmond, VA. I just turned 7 and started riding dirt bikes at 5 ½ on a Yamaha PW50 and then moved to a Yamaha TTR50. I just got a new KTM 50 that I will race when the series starts back up after summer. My whole family rides dirt bikes to include my little brother who is 4. My dad and I started to race last year in the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series where we did 5 races in 2010. My best finish last year was 3rd. For 2011 we are trying to make all 15 races. When I am not riding or racing dirt bikes, I like to ride bikes, swim and camp.
Riding Goals
My goals this year is to complete at least 10 races so I can go to the end of the year banquet. My best finish is 2nd, so I am really trying hard to get a win this year.
Competitive Highlights
With being fairly new to dirt bikes and racing, I have continued to improve my riding skills and get bigger and faster bikes. Each race I continue to get better and have finished in the top 3 in all of my races in the first 6 races.
