Personal History
I am a 9th grade student at Tri Valley Secondary School in Grahamsville, NY. I am on the varsity football, alpine skiing and golf teams. I am enrolled in a full schedule in order to graduate high school in my junior year. I train motocross weekly with my trainer Aaron Lampi at the Orange County Motocross Track. I am the youngest of three children. My parents dedicate their weekends to take me to the tracks in the Metropolitan Sports Committee circuit. I am proud to say this year I will receive the iron man award for attending every event in my district. I have been riding motocross bike since I was five years old but only began racing competitively towards the middle of last season. I finished fifth in Sr. Mini points last year and then had a growth spurt over the winter. I moved up to a 125 this year and compete in the 125 only and school boy classes.
Riding Goals
Each week I try yo improve something from the previous race. I feel that training and focus is my key to success. I came into the 2021 season with the expectations of learning how to ride the 125 after moving up from the mini. Working hard has payed off and I have had more success than expected. In everything I participate in I know that hard work and striving to always be better is what I need to do to be successful.
Competitive Highlights
I finished fifth in points last year in Sr. Mini. This year I am currently fifth in points in 125 only and 9th in points in schoolboy. I have competed in every 125 only race this season even battling through a broken thumb I suffered at the Walden Playboys motocross track. I have placed as high as fourth place this year and I hope to break into to the top three next season. I also have a practice bike which is a 2018 Yamaha YZ125.
