Personal History

I began to ride when I was about nine and it was a slow start needless to say. I was the first person out of my family to participate in the sport so it was as much of a learning experience for me as it was for everyone else. I rode every so often never making big progress but truly enjoying the sport. Finally around thirteen years old I began to race and thats when I really started to gain speed. It was just like anything, the more I practiced the better I got. I bounced around to different trainers through my late beginner class and early c class years and that really helped me get past that plateau that everyone hits coming out of beginner class. After the trainers helped me get past that I realized that I could make progress just as good on my own. I learned how to push myself and learned what it took to get fast. All it takes is going out of your comfort zone and becoming comfortable with that and then just repeating the same process.

Riding Goals

I have made many long term and short term goals. For long term I want to be in the pro class in about two years and I would like to do a pro national in three years. My short term goals are to be running top five in b class and in college boy at national events, I also plan to go to mammoth this year and finish top five in each class.

Competitive Highlights

My most recent highlight was a race that I did at Austin-Del Valle motocross park on 8/15/15. The first moto I got about a fifth place start and I ended up working my way into first the turn right before the finish. The second moto was a different story. I hole shotted and pulled about a ten second lead for 1-1 sweep.
