Personal History
I got a late start at riding . I didn't start riding until I was 12 . My dads friend had a Honda 70 that i would ride on the practice track when went to the races. After a short period of time and the fact that i have grown 4 more inches we decided that i would try a CRF 150r. All my riding on the 150 has been on track in southern California. After riding for a year on the CRF 150 , My dad converted it to a big wheel. It was the best thing . I love to ride because of the rush of adrenilen I get every time I get on the bike. There is nothing like the feel of trying to control something that wants to be out of control all the time . It builds self confidence in everything I do . It make me work harder in school , cause my dad said that school comes first and riding comes second. I'm now 14 years old , racing as much as we can in one or two classes per race to help me improve. We are getting ready to start racing in the 125 class due to the fact that I'm 5 -8 and getting to tall for the 150 . I also like to play baseball , but racing come first as my sport of choice . My dad is my biggest fan and does what he can to us to races and works on the bike all the time to make sure that it as as good as new every time we head to the track . I really enjoy riding with my dad on the track and following him so i can learn more and pick up my speed in trying to keep up with a 450.
Riding Goals
my goal for racing are to be as competitive as possible at all the events and show good sportsmanship on and off the track. I really want to get to point in racing where when i show up at the track they know who I am and what i bring to the table . But on a side note ,everyone speaks highly of me as competitor . I want to win a championship in the series that Im racing in and grow from all the challenges I face on and off the track.
Competitive Highlights
My 3 rd time racing ,I won my class. My very first race was in the mud at milestone raceway . My dad said that the only thing he wanted me to do was finish the race . When the second moto was over and i got back to the truck , my dad was so proud of me for finishing on a track that was torn up bad.
In my 2nd race i took off on the 1st of 2 gates , nerves! This was the open class. At the end of the race my dad told me , all though i took off on the wrong gate , i finished 4th out 26 kids. All those kids have been riding since they where 5 and racing for more than one year.
At the 2nd and 3rd race , I have been getting hole shots off the start, Nothing better that that!
