Personal History
Started riding when I was 4, got out of riding after joining the military for 4 years and 2 years of college, now I am back and my competitive spirit drives me for results.
Riding Goals
This up coming season I plan on hitting one or two of the best of texas races and will make the entire series for the Texas Winter Series racing the over 25 and over 30. I will be in the top 3 at each of these races and look at hitting a couple of qualifiers for Ponca City and Loretta's. Staying healthy and injury free is what will help me fulfill my goals. I enjoy being at the track with all of my buddies hitting a few hot laps and seeing who can push who the hardest.
Competitive Highlights
If I can keep it on two wheels I am always in the top 5, keeping it on two wheels is the key to being a good rider and getting enough seat time is what keeps that on a positive track. I am competitive in everything I do whether it be football, baseball or powerlifting in high school or a weekend warrior at the track every weekend. Winning is what it is all about, my biggest high light came after a 7 week layoff due to 5 broken ribs and no time on the bike during this time, I hit one race and rode one class and finished 10th out of 11 due to a crash in each heat, the last race I got in a little bit of seat time and had a suspension tuning session at one of these rides and came in 2nd in the 250 novice against kids half my age that are moving to the intermediate class this next season and 2nd in the over 30 against guys that have been pro and intermediate riders. Made me feel like I'm back and excited to get back on the bike.
