Well, Loretta's did not go as planned. In my first race my bike stopped on the 3rd lap. After long time checking out why it would not start we found the reeds came out! Race 2, since I DNF the first my gate pick was terrible. It has rained all day and on the start I got stuck in the 3ft hole at the gate so I came off last and finished 21st and charging hard. The last race I got a good start but someone came into me with his back tire and down I went. I finished like 33rd or something. This is not at all how I wanted to represent all of the people who sponsor me. I was happy to make it there and come out without injury. I will train for mini o's and hope to do well there.

We have not done any full series, been doing a lot of training and riding at my track and trainers track.

Scanning the 50cc entry lists before the race, it was evident that there would be some great racing in these classes. There were, for example, two AMA Amateur National Champions on the list: Jackson Turpin (50cc, 7-8) and Gage Linville (50cc, 4-6). Florida’s Cody Russell, who finished third at Loretta’s in the 4-6 division, was also in attendance.
Clark returned for the 50cc Open contest, in which he raced closely with fellow Cobra pilot Linville. Linville had the initial lead both times, but Clark took the gold, via his 2-1 score, over Linville’s 1-3 tally. Russell’s 3-2 finishes put him on the final podium step.
In the first 50cc (4-6) moto, Linville took the win, ahead of his Spaceport Cycles teammate Russell. In moto two, however, Linville ran into problems, finishing back at fifth spot. Meanwhile, Russell confidently nailed down the moto win and took the gold. Linville’s 1-5 tally was good enough for the silver, over Garrett Hortman’s 4-3 score.
Cody Russell won the 50cc (4-6) class.

I worked hard all year and made my dream come true, with my great starts and consistancy I was able to capture 3rd overall on the KTM at LL this year! I think this is one of the first Podiums for KTM on the 50, but not the last!

I just got back from Aonia Pass and qualified 2nd in the 4-6 class and I am going back to Loretta's! Now it is time to train, train, train!
