Personal History
I grew up in a small town called Susquehanna, PA. Susquehanna is about one hour north of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Area. I am currently sponsored by a local shop called MXM Motosports. The owner, Mitch Boughton, provides a great program that enables me to progress as a rider. The practice track facility is a great way to get in some seat time during the week after my college work is done. I attend Broome College in Binghamton, NY. The campus is close, and that allows me to come home every day and get out on the track.
I ride with former pro-am rider Steve Dibble on a regular basis. He has taken me under his wing to teach me and help me progress as a rider.
Riding Goals
Because of the economy, I had to postpone my racing career for 2009 and 2010. I did however manage to keep riding and stay comfortable on the bike. For 2011, I'm just looking to get back into the swing of things by competing at a few different events. I'll be racing some of the closer District 34 races, a few NEATV events, and most likely one or two national events. I'll will, however, be back in 2012 and ready to make a run for the District 34 championship as well as top 5 finishes in select national and NEATV events.
Competitive Highlights
I attended my first ATV national in 2007 in Unadilla, NY. I finished 4th overall in the production B class. I was proud of this accomplishment because I saw how I stacked up to the competition at a national level.
Broome-Tioga Sports Center held it's 1st annual Quad Only event in 2007, and I took home the overall win in the B class
I had multiple overall wins in the 2008 District 34 Championship Series, and held the points lead for most of the season until my injury. I still managed to finished 7th overall in championship points standings out of 25+ riders.
