Personal History
Started riding dirt bikes when I was 7 on a Honda 50. Moved up to a KX80 through age of 14 and finally to a YZ125 through my 20's. I learned to ride from my dad who raced during his teens/twenties. For the past 15 years I graduated off the dirt bikes into riding my Harley. Now that I have kids who are old enough to have bikes and learning to ride/race, I decided to get my own dirt bike so we could practice and race together as a family. My wife is the most supportive person in the world and would not be able to enjoy this journey without her. I now am riding a YZ250F and absolutely love it. The power is perfect for my capabilities and allows me to push my limits each time on the track without having to worry about injuring myself too bad.
Riding Goals
While right now I am racing as a beginner and hoping to move up to a true 'C' Class or novice soon, I would love to be able to race in the 'B' Class in the next couple of years. Honestly, I am just hoping to stay up with my kids who are riding at a much higher level than I ever did at their age.
Competitive Highlights
Only had one race so far, and the track was brutal. Much more difficult than I had expected, but I did better than I was expecting. Hoping to improve my abilities exponentially over the next few months.
