First race of the series (for me), first moto, side by side holeshot, 4 turns in on a sweeping corner double, I took the inside line, cross-rutted on the face of the jump and ended up with a clavicle broken into 4 pieces and a few banged up ribs.
They had to put in a titanium plate and seven screws. Doc says I have to wait 4 months to get back on the bike but I'm going to see how the recovery goes. I would really like to ride again before the winter.
The good news is that my 2011 RMZ is just fine. She didn't get hurt a bit!

I just rolled a brand new RMZ450 into my garage last night!! Can't wait for the weather to break!!

After a very rough championship with multiple bike failures, I have commited to racing a brand new bike next year. I look forward to focasing on my racing next year, instead of working on my bike constantly. Mechanical failures and old technology are holding me back and with a new bike next year, I will have an honest understanding of where I stand. The final points have not been released yet but I will update when they are.

2 events into the fall Mid-East championship series and I couldn't have more drive to put everything I have into the championship. I've been practicing on my practice track and will continue to put everything I have into doing the best I possibly can in this series.

After a very tough year I am greatly looking forward to 2010. With everything else going on in life I didn't get the opportunity to focus on MX as much as I wanted to in 09. I'm back to work and just finishing up my home remodling. I look forward to being able to focus on 2010 with everything I have. Thanks to all my sponsors for supporting me and helping me get through last season and continuing to support me into 2010!!!
