Personal History
I started riding motorcycles with my father when I was 6 years old. This year was my third year of racing hare scrambles with the Northeast Off-Road Championship (NEOC) series in New Jersey. Over the last three years I have steadily improved my overall results and this year was able to finish 2nd overall in the 10-12 EL 0-110cc class. I credit my success and growth in the sport to my parent's dedication, my consistent practice, and of course the professional instruction I have received at both the Rich Lafferty and Steve Hatch Racing Schools. I am 12 years old and I'm in 7th grade where I get all A's and B's.
Riding Goals
My goal for next season is to continue to improve on my results and move up into the 12-13 85cc two stroke class on my 2009 Kawasaki KX-85. I also plan to continue to compete in the youth pit bike class on my 2010 KLX-110L. In addition to the hare scramble races with the NEOC, I plan to compete in the ECEA hare scramble events that do not interfere with the NEOC.
Competitive Highlights
Earlier in the season I would have said that my number one competitive highlight was taking 1st place in the Cow Patty race in NY, but now taking an overall podium position at #2 in my class is now my favorite highlight. I can't wait for the banquet to receive my trophy.
