Personal History
My name is Chris Lochner, most people call me "Ernie". I am 28 years old and live in Appleton, WI. I can remember riding dirt bikes since I was little. Always around the cabin, woods, or at home. The last 7 years, or more I've went on annual weekend trips twice a year with a group of friends to the Upper Michigan Peninsula to fine tune my single track and hill climbing skills. Each time always pushing myself more and more whether it is speed, control, or just technique. I have huge passion for riding dirt bikes in the woods because not every corner is the same. You are always unsure of what's going to be up a head, or around the next corner. I have decided that I would like to further test my skills in a Hare Scramble Series that Anshultz Motorsports puts on within the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan area. What a great time this is going to be! Can't wait until the first race of the year on April 6th, 2014 !!!
Riding Goals
The riding goals that I have for this year are to be able to compete in all of the 14 round series races and to succeed in making it into the top 10 of each series. I am more used to riding in the woods and single track situations for long parts of the day. Much like I get to do while visiting the Greater Michigan Upper Peninsula. 2 hour races with dead starts and staggered start times. I am always looking to critique my riding habits so that I can ride better the next round and be less tired while riding smarter and faster.
Competitive Highlights
I do not have any Competitive highlights at this time. I am looking forward to posting new results from each round in the RPA Off-Road Series. WIXC Wisconsin Cross Country Hare Scrambles this year!!!! Wish me Luck
