Personal History
My name is Chris Angus, I grew up in Vancouver, Washington a suburb of Portland Oregon, and have been riding bikes ever since I was 4 years old. I started racing at the age of 15 and have never thought of any other sport that i thought was even par to this. I excelled in the sport early due to the fact I was riding a downhill bike 15 miles up steep hills. Everyday after school just to do some log drops and wooden bridges. I raced some sport races, and I thought I did fairly well. Which I began to advance my skills. I started entering JR. EX and was doing great. In 2004 I was in a major crash on my bike which put me out for a long time. after I was in the crash I stopped racing and doing more freeride, racing from time to time. In 2008 i started training everyday for the 2009 season. I wanted to start racing again, and in 2009 thats what I did. even though the season didn't turn out great due to mechanicals constantly I had fun.
Riding Goals
Racing the Gravity as a semi-pro getting back into the sport and training everyday, using a coach in the gym to get my endurance up. I'm ready for this year and I'm going to take it by storm.
