Personal History
My name is Christina Murphy, and I just finished my racing career in 125 beginner, and am now moving up to Novice. I've only raced on a local level, and I plan on racing the Thanksgiving National at Cycle Ranch on Thanksgiving week. It'll be my first national ever, but I'm super excited! I'm ready to take racing seriously and I want to make a name for myself. I'll probably be racing Womens - Novice.
Riding Goals
I want to race Loretta Lynn's this summer in womens class, and place. I realize that's going to be difficult because of how much motocross has grown with the ladies these days, but I've already started my training and I can't wait. I also would like to start placing top 5 locally in the Novice class.
Competitive Highlights
I think one of my competative highlights was at Cycle Ranch in Texas. I was racing against around 4 major sandbaggers, but I told myself to ride my
hardest but keep it on two wheels. Ride smart. Go out there to have fun, and just don't go down. Three of the four sandbaggers went down, and I ended up getting 2nd for that moto because I was persistant in my racing! I was really excited.
