Personal History
I come from a great family. I have very supportive parents that help me and my older sister and my younger brother accomplish the sports and activities that we love to do. My older sister is an athlete and she plays travel softball and club volleyball, and plays both sports for her high school. My younger brother plays baseball and is in martial arts. I play travel baseball, and I am the teams starting catcher. When ball season is over or on the off weekends, I am at the race track. Dirt bike racing is my love, but I am just getting into the sport. Our family attends church on Sundays, when we are not at sporting events..
Riding Goals
Dirt bikes have always been one of my biggest passions. between me and my dad we have 7 dirt bikes. We have a small track build on our property, and I spend most of my time riding. This year, My parents have allowed me to start racing. I entered a winter indoor series, and I am loving every minute of it! I am running in the 85 beginner class. I am making improvements every time I'm at the track! My goal is to race from here on out. I will still play baseball for my travel team for this next year, but racing may take all my attention. My goal is to become a better racer and get my first win in the next year!
Competitive Highlights
I have only raced in two races to date, but I can not wait for the next. First race I came in last, as to be expected. My last race, I was able to beat 2 riders out of the hole shot. We battled for awhile, as I passed another rider in the straight, but as we got into the turn, he sideswiped me and put me down. I was able to get back up and almost came back, but ended up last again by just a bike length. I was very proud of this in only my second race!
Update. I completed the winter series and finished 3rd overall in points! I have raced 2 spring races now, competing to two classes each. The first was a Saturday night under the lights supercross where I took 1st in 85jr and 6th in supermini. The next was the COMX series opening race where I took 1st is 85jr and 5th in supermini. I was most proud of my supermini 5th place as I am 11 racing guys much older than me. And it was a combined class and I had to race 125cc also. I went down in soft dirt twice in the first moto and came back to pass riders to get 5th.
