Personal History

My name is Christian Cardoso son of Guilherme Cardoso a retired professional motocross and enduro rider. Coming from a family that has passion for motocross and two wheels, I was born in Brasil 07/19/1997 in Minas Gerais BH. Since about 3 years old I've always wanted to do motocross but in brasil at that time it was hard. I moved to united states at the age of 7. And money wise my father couldn't support me doing motocross, but for my 14th birthday I got a cr85 2006. That's where my passion for motocross really started to hit me, a few months after I got a yz125. And the thoughts of going pro were in my head, I would always talk about how its what I wanted to do as a career. But from past expiriences of some of my friends that tried they told me it wasn't going to happen. I started to late but either way I still want to ride, its a life style and something I just really enjoy doing. But I learned that there are risks I will have to take, losing a motocross family member Jantz Grodzicki. it hit me like I saw that I was risking my life. But that also didn't stop me it just made me want to do it more! My first race was a little after that accident, it was awesome the adrenaline pumping through my body as I come to the gate that day I got 2nd moto1 and 3rd moto2 novice 250cc. And unfortunately the day after Daytona 2013 I lost a friend also doing motocross, it was hard to go through losing someone once again his name was Kevin Goss passed away doing what he loved. I then a few days after bought with the help of my older brother a yz250f. And throughout these 2 years I've been riding people would tell me I have talent for this sport and I would beat people in races that have been riding all there life. I love motocross from the bottom of my heart, I will always do it. Its an escape from everyday life and unfortunately the main track I ride at is getting charges and the county is demanding that there is an ambulance every time someone is riding. But for an ambulance it would cost 200 dollars an hour. So the county really is just trying to make money or shut it down (MAIMI MX PARK). On this day 8/4/2013 riders went out to the track to support and so did a few news channels down here in south FL. Luckly no one got hurt from riding, but one of my friends as he was getting of the track got struck by lightning. And it wasn't a pleasant seen, he is in a coma at Ryder trauma center hopefully a miracle will happen and he will recover and ride again. But if the track does close ill have to drive 2 hours to thundercross mx park in Okeechobee. Best track i've ever been to but the drive is to long and my brother doesn't want to drive all the way there. But we do go like once a month! Because that was the first track i've ever rode on and its an amazing track to train on. But in total I love motocross and nothing will stop me from having a passion for it.
