Personal History
My name is Chris Tracy. I have been racing/riding for about 10 years now and still have not gotten enough of it. Im 17 years old this year and I will be turning 18 in December. So far as a motocross racer I have met or exceeded all of the goals I set for myself when i first started. 2008 was a huge learning year for me. I was fortunate enough to be invited to race for Team DirtBikeMike in the Toyota Arenacross Series. There I earned enough points to get my Pro License. When the Arenacross tour was completed I set my mind on Supercross, though injuries prevented me from doing more than one. I participated in the 08 Monster Energy Supercross in St. Loise, Missouri. Casing a triple and twisting my right knee prevented me from competing that night. In June I participated in the Freestone MX outdoor Lites National. I was very nervous and, as a result, didn't make to Sunday's program. In July I participated in th RedBud MX Outdoor Lites National. I wasn't as nervous, But it still got the best of me. Since then I have been riding all through the week, and trianing with my fitness trainer Brian Cutberth. Brian owns Memphis Fitness Club which is where we do our training. Im running most of the East Coast Supercross Series this year in the Lites class and I will be running the majority of the Outdoor Lites Series as well. I feel that I have a pretty strong program for the 2009 season and am excited to see how things go.
Riding Goals
Some of my goals for the coming year are to stay healthy, get a little bit more exposure and possibly establish a name for myself in the Outdoor Lites series.
Competitive Highlights
I have been on TV multiple times in the past year but I would have to say the best thing was earning my Pro License. I have worked all my life for it and it was good to finally get it. Being able to compete in the Supercross and Motocross Lites classes is a major accomplishment as well.
