Personal History

As you know my name is Chris Scott. I have three children, a 19 year old son, a 16 year old daughter and a 2 year old son . I have been riding for about 20 years and racing a little over 10 years. Last year was my first oppertunity to race a full season of harescrambles and I won my class championship for 2011, I started riding to get my son involved, for a father/son hobby that allowed us to spend more time together and it has spun into more about racing. Atleast we still get to race the same events. My daughter is my photographer/pit girl, she loves to take care of us and make sure we didn't crash and see if we need anything. In April of 2010 I had an accident on the bike, I was life flighted to the hospital where I spent the next six days recovering. I had a punctured lung and broken rib. I remember a little after surgery asking when I could ride again. It's a big passion of mine and I hated the thought of not being able to ride, but I recoverd very well and was able to get back on the bike in better health than before. I started excersing and taking better care of myself and went on to get my first trophy ever. From there I was able to win my class chamionship. So my accident motivated me to do better and better my riding abilities, everytime I get on the bike I try to find ways to improve. I'm very excited to see what my Son can do and hopefully I set an example to have fun while you race. Thank you very much for taking the time to learn more about me and my family. God Bless

Riding Goals

I have so many I don't know where to start. I guess i'll start by telling you that the first trophy ever recieved was a big goal of mine and after I did that it motivated me to race a full season and accomplish another goal which was my class championship in the C+30, my next goal is to continue to race the www.racemore.net series and go after a B class championship. I have always wanted to race a national event and plan to do so next year in Park Hills at the National Enduro.

Competitive Highlights

I have race wins and I have a class win but the very first trophy I got was for 5th place and I made a long hard fight and some passes to get that first trophy and I don't believe i'll ever forget that feeling. But winning the +30 class was very rewarding and let me know that you can win if you keep fighting!
