Personal History
I am the Service and Parts Director for Subaru of Kings Automall. I have worked my way up during the 16 years at this business through hard work and performance. My wife and I have three sons that are currently 14, 11, and 7. All three have the same passion for off road riding as me. I have even converted my wife to the off road side and she now rides a Yamha atv. My garage consists of the following rides:
- 2009 Yamaha WR250f w/290 kit (former GNCC XC2 Rider Jason Thomas bike)
- 2006 Yamaha YZ 125 w / Eric Gorr Racing 144cc kit
- 2009 Yamaha YZ 85 Supermini w/112 kit
- 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550 w/ Power Steering
- 2005 Kawasaki RM 65
- 2006 Suzuki LTZ 250
We get are bikes/atvs to the trail one of two ways. For close trips we have a 16 foot enclosed trailer with our sponsors names on it. For camping and long trips we take our toy hauler along for all the comforts of home.
MY LIFE MOTTO IS: WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER!!!!
Riding Goals
- Get a wide range of sponsors so my oldest son can more race the GNCC complete series.
- Win 2 classes next year for Tony Moore and Chris Moore: 12-15 200c and 35+
- Continue to represent our family as good competitiors, but better people and continue to grow our race family.
Competitive Highlights
I had a integral part of putting together a group of riders this year that has had much success. Our group of riders that I have gotten into off road racing took a year off for our kids to race. It was a great year!
- We won the 12-15 Supermini (Tony Moore) with 6 first place finishes. In the 8-10 Atv class we had kids finish 2nd, 4th, and 5th for the year. In the 4-8 ATV Class we had a 2nd Place Finish by a 4 year old.
My highlight of the year was taking my son to the Ironman GNCC for his first GNCC on a big bike. He wore a Go PRO and raced very fast until a hard crash damaged his clutch cable and forced him to a exit the race. The video proves he can compete at the highest level and I look forward to watching him race for many years to come. His goal is to race the XC1 class in GNCC. This coming year will be the next stop in a long journey to the top.
