Personal History

Hello my name is Chris Godfrey and I’m 34 years old. Have a wife and two daughters who enjoy going to the race track with me. Grew up riding motocross and then stopped around the age of 16 as I was big into hockey. At the age of 25 decided to get back into the sport of motocross and it’s been an obsession again ever since. So I enjoy spending time with my family as well as the many close friends I have met in the motocross community over the past years of getting back to racing and riding.

Riding Goals

Riding has become very important to me for many reasons. My passion to get better as well as my physical and mental health. Motocross brings structure to my life as well as tons of fun and great memories! My plan for riding is to always improve each year. From riding as much as I can to also taking local riding camps to improve technique and stay safe.

Competitive Highlights

Over the past 6-7 years I have been following the RacerX Vet Series. It’s a race series catered to us vet riders and is extremely fun and still very competitive. Racing in the +25 B and +30 B classes I have achieved many top 3 and top 5 finishes as well as a top 5 finish in the series. Series includes some AMA national tracks such as Redbud and Millville which is a dream to be able to ride those facilities! A goal is to try some bigger amateur nationals races such as Baja brawl and then some Loretta qualifiers for the +30 class.
