Personal History

I'll be 48 years old this year. 4 years ago I decided to ride a dirtbike for the 1st time in my life (bigger than a 50cc as a kid). Got into racing with OTHG (Over The Hill Gang) shortly afterwards. I've had several bad get offs, from a broken leg, amnesia and the most recent from March 5, 2022. Cool YouTube video (MCH Racing) of a fellow rider clipping my bars and sending me down to be run over by the guy that was chasing him...during practice none the less. Grade 4 concussion, 6 broken ribs, punctured lung, plural effusion, bruised the other lung, Fractured T7, herneated all by cervical vertebrae, torn MCL left knee and torn rotator cuff right knee. 4 days in ICU. Rotator cuff surgery May 13th and extensive rehab. Got back on the bike in January. 1st race of the year was a mudder at MMX, took 1st. I'm no quitter and I prove to myself everyday just how capable I am. I'm not the fastest lady out there but if you are out here doing this hard sport, you are a hero of mine. I cannot put into words how much fun I have everytime I'm on the bike. It's like nothing else I've ever done and I feel privileged to belong to such a great group of people.

Riding Goals

To progress into a more confident rider. To be a ompetitive, positive person amongst an already awesome group of people. I would love to advance to novice but for now just staying healthy is my primary goal. I train with a certified trainer on the bike and in the gym. To become stronger and enforce technical skills.

Competitive Highlights

Notable mention, In 2021 I completed IronWoman for the OTHG. Getting a checkered flag for every single moto that year, including 5 Nationals (practice day and 4 total motos). I have more photos and videos at home but we are currently at the first National of the year. 1st place at MMX (my first race back after the major injury). And I'm at the South Nationals currently and so far I'm 2-2 for today 2 more motos tomorrow @LACR. Knarly track. They combined the vet track and main track into 1 and this is for sure the longest track I've ever rode.

OTHG South National 3rd place - technically was 2nd but a transpoder glitch in moto 1 and 2 caused a 3rd overall. No worries, I'll get them next time!
