Personal History

I started riding a Honda 50 in the PeeWee class at age 6.  From there it went to Mini Non-Comp and then to the Women's C Class  I won the Women's C Class in 2011 and moved to B Class but I got injured in an accident during practice in 2012 and was out for the season.  Started racing again in 2013 but the old bike I was on was worn out and I only placed eighth as the shifter spun and stuck in third.  My dad showed up with a new KTM 350 SXF and I started winning again.  It was a tough fight at times but I won the 2013 Women's B Championship. I do great in school also and was one of 50 Wyoming Sophomores selected to attend High School Academy at the University of Wyoming.  I always make the Honor Roll and even won the Student of the Year Award in American History.  I like to surf and snorkel in the ocean and went to dolphin training camp in Cancun.  I am currently studying for my Open Water Certification in PADI Scuba Certification.  I work two jobs, do most of the work on my bikes myself, and make my own bike payments.  I kinda have a busy life.

Riding Goals

Airborne MX Suspensions is a sponsor of mine out of Denver and they are race suspension tuning my bike right now.  I want to increase my points lead and win the Women's B Championship for 2013.  UPDATE. During my final two races for the 2013 Season, I went over the bars and ended up knocked out in the middle of the track but I had finished 2nd in the first moto so I ended up 5th overall.  The next day I grabbed both holeshots and won both motos to finish the season as the Women's B Champion.  From Chey's Dad:  Cheyenne completed 11 of the 12 sceduled races for 2013.  In those races she won 7 motos and grabbed 12 holeshots.  She was taken out in an ambulance once for a twisted knee and knocked unconscious one and left laying out in the middle of the track.  She never slowed down and she never quit.  That is why she is the TSDR Women's B Champion.  That is why she is my Champion.

Competitive Highlights

I've been racing and winning since I was 6 and racing is my life.  We did not expect to win coming into the 2013 season, missing the first race and messing up races 2 and 3 on a bad bike.  But when I got on the KTM I went out and won the first race I ever rode on it.  Both Motos and the overall.  My last race I holeshotted both motos, won both motos and the overall. I ended the season as the Women's B Champion. I also ride a VTR996 and a GSXR600. Not bad for only 16 years old.  Next year I am going to enter the 450 C and Vet C classes in addition to Women's B.
