Personal History

Hey! I'm Cheyenne. I've been around dirtbikes my entire life but didn't start getting seriously into it until 2017 when my now husband bought me a 2004 CRF230. Boy was that bike heavy and slow but I learned so much. I rode with my husband, dad and brother and they all taught me everything I know and I give them all of the credit for the skills I've learned.   I grew up watching Chad Reed (I'm a bit of a CR22 super fan) and Ricky Charmichael battle it out at High Point Raceway and Ford Field in Detroit and i always dreamed of a life in the sport. I started racing harescrambels in 2020 and became completely addicted and passionate about racing dirtbikes.

When i'm not racing dirtbikes, I work full time for a pharmaceutical company as a safety technician. I went to Slippery Rock University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management. I also competed in track and field in college in the long jump and sprints. I love to Hunt. I grew up in the woods. I also have a passion for music and sing in a country/80s rock band with my incredibly talented dad as the lead guitarist/singer. I've recently taken up snowboarding to occupy my time in the winter months. I'm also a fitness fanatic which comes with growing up playing sports and I've shifted my fitness goals to increasing my endurance and strength when racing.

Riding Goals

It's tough racing as a woman in a male-dominated sport. We are lucky to have 10 women in our class in one race. My biggest goal is to become skilled and fast enough to be competitive in the men's classes. I'd like to start racing a few races in the men's C class and move up from there. I also plan on racing the women's class in the GNCC series this season.

Competitive Highlights

My first race was in June of 2020 and I ended up winning that race. I will never forget the feeling. I also won the womens overall championship for the season in the American Woods Racing Competition Series.
