Personal History
I am 15 years old, a sophmore at Woodland High School. Started riding in 2002 on a Suzuki DR110, moved up to a Suzuki DR125L. Started racing in 2003 and have been hooked every since. Moved up to a 2004 CR125 IN 2005. Currently race the Womens class and 125 Novice. Been a member of the A.M.A. for 4 years, Motocross Northwest for 5 years and the W.M.A. for 2 years now.Other hobbies are basketball ( just for fun ) and softball. Made the allstars last two years I played softball. I love everything about motocross. I've made some great friends, met great people and have really enjoyed the last 4 years. I just got my first quarter progress report and I'm carrying a 3.95 G.P.A. right now.
Riding Goals
I want to continue training, and gaining experience throughout the winter, practice as much as possible so when the summer series start I can be competitive in the Womens class and run with the boys in the 125 class.I would like to complete the Woodland Winter track series, and finish in the top 3 this year. Last year it was a really competitive class, with at least 12 girls lining up every race. I also want to race the Pac West series, Washougal MX Park series, Washougal National Amateur days ( finish in the top 10 ) Mtn. View MX series, and as many of the P.I.R. Thurs. night MX as possible. ( the series starts while school is still in session, and racing can't affect my grades ) I am going to try and qualify for the 2008 Loretta Lynns Amateur Nationals, or at least make it to the regionalsI want to continue to improve and stay injury free throughout the next year, and have fun!
Competitive Highlights
Winning the Womens class for the P.I.R. / Mtn. View MX series, 9 races at P.I.R. and 5 at Mtn. View has to be the biggest highlight to date. Competing against 40 other girls at the Washougal National Amateur days, the last two years. Finishing 5th in an extremely competitive, rough, and muddy series at the Woodland Winter track last year. There are so many races that are highlights for me, any good battle for any position is what makes motocross such an exciting sport, and I am happy to have the opprotunity to be a part of that.
