Personal History
I come from a small passionate motorcycling family. Iv'e grown up around bikes, from watching my dad compete in off road events to spectating at road races as well. Im also currently studying at university to become a nurse as i'm extremely passionate about helping people achieve optimum health and wellbeing.
After having a not so successful 2016 season due to injuries sustained at a race before the start of the state title season I’m looking to come back in 2017 with a more positive and determined mindset. My outlook after having a break has changed and I see now that having fun and supporting fellow racers is such an important part of the motorcycling community. I feel that empowering fellow women racers will promote a positive space for females of all ages to feel comfortable in their abilities and allow female motorcycling to grow.
Riding Goals
My future goals within the sport are to be competitive amongst the top of the field in the women’s classes of the South Australian Off-Road Series and the South Australian Motocross Championships. I look forward to competing in national women’s round in order to gain experience and further my racing endeavors. In 2017, I’m also finding information about becoming a motorcycle coach. This would enable me to encourage and give advice to younger girls coming through the ranks in order to keep female participation growing throughout off-road motorcycling in South Australia. I look forward to gaining more knowledge on and off the bike in order to improve my performance on the bike as well as advancing in off-track sectors such as promoting sponsors and furthering my motorcycle education.
Competitive Highlights
• Competing in 3 AORC Rounds which were held in South Australia
• Competing in 3 Junior Hattah Desert Races and One Senior Hattah Desert Race.
• Becoming the first South Australian female to podium place at the Hattah Desert Race
• Competing in an ASA (Australian Sidecar-cross Association) Round
• Competing in the ASA Sidecar Spectacular
• Meeting one of Australia’s best female racers Jessica Gardiner and Australia’s best off-road racer Toby Price.
