Personal History

I'm Chaz, I am 8 years old. I live in a small town in Ohio with my Mom, Dad, and my sister. My Great Grandpa gave me my first 4 wheeler when I was 4 and my dad got me my first dirt bike when I was 5. I like to go riding with my Dad and uncle Ronnie. After we work on the farm and get things done for my Great Grandpa we then have permission to ride in the field ( if not planted) and in the woods. My mom lets me go with my Dad and uncle Ronnie to places to ride only if I have good grades and I have my chores done. I love to go to Haspin Acres in Laurel, IN and Rush Offroad park in Rush, KY. If I'm not riding my Dad and I are shooting guns, riding in his RZR, fishing, playing with RC cars, or kayaking.  I also love to hang out with my mom, she is usually busy with my little sister but she always makes time for me we go to the movies and she takes me on "adventures"  such as taking nature walks and riding our bikes around town. She also takes me to the park, the local water park, and to go see my Great Grandma. As a family, we like to go to tug-a-truck and the demo derby. My friend Keyton comes over almost every day after school. We like to play with Nerf guns, jump on the trampoline, ride our bikes, and play my PS4. We like to play Fortnight, LEGO worlds, Minecraft, and H1Z1.

Riding Goals

My riding goals are much higher than most, I want to be good like my Dad. My Nana told me if she would have let my Dad ride like he wanted he could have been pro. My parents said I can do anything I put my mind to! My dad has ridden at tons of cool places. He has lived all over the united states, my dad moved all over because my Papaw was a Sargent in the Army! My dad said he doesn't want to move anymore and he just wants to live in our small town, Here in our small town we have a local dirt track but my parents don't let me go there because they said the older riders there are not cautious about younger riders just learning to ride the track. I also don't have all the proper riding gear. I save my money I earn from working on the farm to buy gear. My Dad told me I'm awesome at woods riding, My dad and uncle work had every year to fix the trails, to remove all the trees that are down, and make new trails for me. I'd like to get the gear I need so I can go to the track and become more experienced in riding different places than just the woods.
My long-term goal for riding is to raise awareness for my sister. My sister has Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs, but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys, and intestine. My mom told me all about CF after my sister was diagnosed at 2 weeks old. It made me very sad to know my sister was sick. I told my mom I wanted to help my sister by getting people to learn about it and to know about it so we can find a cure. the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation doesn't get any funding besides what people donate. I want to ride for my sister, I want to ride for a cause. I realize I don't only ride because I love it, I ride because I want my sister to love it. I'm her big brother it's my job to protect her and help her. this is how I can help and make a positive impact while doing it.

Competitive Highlights

Some of my accomplishments include Being an active member of AWANA at my local church, maintaining good grades, and being active in my community.  I enjoy going to walks with my mom. We attend the Relay for Life, Walk to End Alzheimer's, and Out of the Darkness (Suicide awareness) walks. 2018 I will be going to my first Great Strides walk with my family, its a walk for Cystic Fibrosis. I also have been helping my mom train for the "Cycle for Life", she will be riding her bike 15 miles for cystic fibrosis. I also am an avid motorcycle rider and go on poker runs with my dad and his friend and we support Veterans. With me being so active anything can happen. When I got my first state ID I decided to become an organ donor, I like to help people and if something were to happen I would still be helping people. I also help my mom take care of my Great Grandma, we help her around her house and do her chores. After we are done she shows me how to play old games. I also help with my Great Grandpa (my dad's grandpa) I sweep his house and clean up the yard.  I have a lot of responsibilities at home also. My mom said if I can work a tablet I can work the washing machine, so, I have to do my laundry, keep my room clean, be respectful, and mine my elders.
