Personal History

My name is Chase Wilson and I am 7 years old. I am in 2nd grade and love going to school.  My teacher is the best and I am really working hard to improve my reading skills. I love to play basketball, soccer, football and baseball. During the winter, my passion is snowmobiles. I ride with my dad and brother whenever we can. I look forward to fall when we help our snowmobile club, Walworth-Fontana Blizzard Buzzards, put in the trails that we will ride during the winter.  My favorite Snow Cross racer is Tucker Hibbert. I have 1 brother, Tyler (12),  and 3 sisters, Sydney (11), Elliana (2), and Lillian (5 months) . My mom and dad are both teachers. They support me in every way they can.

I began riding dirt bikes when I turned 6. Mom and dad bought me a battery powered dirt bike for my birthday. I loved it and rode it every day I could. Dad bought me my first gas powered dirt bike, a Yamaha TTR-50, in July of that year when he realized that my interest and skill level had increased.   We rode at a state park that has dirt bike trails for the rest of the summer.  Late August, we went to our local MX track and watched all of the races with awe and excitement. I was hooked and I wanted to race. Dad hired me a coach, Derek Whitney, a former Supercross pro. My first race was in Woodstock, Illinois on their Stadium Series track on September 16, 2016. I was nervous and excited. I had very little experience on a track with jumps and tight turns. My second race was in Mendota, Illinois in October 2016. I finished 8th out of 11 riders on my Yamaha. I was so excited. Dad just bought  me a KTM 50 SX to be more competitive in the races. I can't wait to race it.

Riding Goals

My riding goals for the 2017 season is to race every chance I get. I will complete in as many District 16 and District 17 events as I possibly can. Some of the race tracks I want to compete at are Aztalan in Lake Mills WI, Gravity Park in Chilton WI, Woodstock Stadium Series in Woodstock IL,  Megacross in Mendota IL, and Motosports Park in Byron IL.

I want to finish every race, practice at least once a week and start competing for wins. I am highly competitive and I want to win.

I plan to continue to ride and further develop my skills and confidence through the winter season at the indoor track at Megatraxs in Mendota IL and to practice every chance I get.
