Personal History
My Name is Chase Thompson! I’m 5 years old! I live at home with my mom Kelsi, my dad Taylor, and my sister Sawyer! I am currently in Pre-school in Columbia, La. My hobbies are of course riding Motocross, working on dirt bikes with my dad, riding my four wheeler, hunting, fishing, and playing with my friends! My dad and mom both race motocross and so did both of their dads! My dad and I spend a lot of the time we’re not riding maintaining our home private Mx track so that I can practice everyday when I get home from school or on the weekends that we’re not traveling to races! We have a brand new 2020 43’ toy hauler that we bring to every race, we haul my dad’s Ktm, my mom’s 2 Kawasaki’s, my Ktm 50, and my Yamaha pit bike! We have it loaded out with tool boxes full of tools and all the extra parts and fluids you would typically need! We also have 12’ racing decals on all three sides with my name, my number, and my sponsors!
Riding Goals
My Racing goals are to one day ride pro! I want to start out by qualifying for the Loretta Lynn every year so I can get my name in the books and to travel the country doing what I love! My goal at this moment is to keep taking private lessons pushing myself to get faster and to keep working on my techniques! I have a great family and lots of friends that stand behind me and my dream! They all work together to make sure my bike, my trailer, and all my gear stays in great shape! My mom and dad work really hard to support my dream in this costly sport so with the help of an awesome sponsor would really be the backbone of any riding goals and a dream come true!
Competitive Highlights
I started riding a dirt bike by the age of 1! My dad bought me a 2015 Yamaha ttr50 with training wheels and riding has been my passion since that day! When I was 2 we removed training wheels and began riding track! I couldn’t race Mx until I was 4 bc of the rules so my dad took me to a few Cross Country races! I finished all the races but not sure what place but I did get a whole shot award! Them my dad bought me my KTM 50 and so it began! I turned 4 and My very first race I placed 3rd out of 12 people that were between the ages of 4 and 8! I knew this was my passion from day one and I eat sleep and breath Motocross! I completed the 2019 Louisiana Motocross State Championship Series in the top 3 every race and 2nd overall for the season! We just started a 3 Round Hole Shot Series March 1, 2020 and I placed 1st in both mottos! We leave tomorrow for Arcola MX for the weekend so I’m hoping to get some much needed training in and then bring home a win! I love the sport very much and I enjoy all the fun but I am also very competitive!
