Personal History
My name is Chase DeCandia, I live in Chaplin, Connecticut with my mom, dad and brother. I attend Windham Technical High School where my vocation is Automotive. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 4 when I got my first JR50. I started racing when I was 7 on a Kawasaki KLX110 in a local hare scramble series put on by New England Cross Country. I raced hare scrambles for a few years and also began motocross racing in the NEMA series which is throughout New England. I have ridden Kawasaki 65, 85, 100 and 125. In 2013 we decided to check out this new GP series called J Day Offroad. After the first race me and my family were hooked. We raced the rest of the 2013 series.
For the 2014 season I raced a 2013 KTM 200XCW in the J Day Offroad full time.
For the 2015 season I will be riding a 2015 KTM 150SX and a 2014 KTM 250XCW in the A class. I will be running the J Day Offroad Series and the NECC Series.
In my spare time, I enjoy riding my pit bike, fishing, camping and mud trucks. My family has supported me from the beginning and I wouldn't be where I am without their support.
Riding Goals
This year for 2015 I have moved up to the A class and I would like to stay consistent with my finishes. I practice mutliple times a week and train physically so that I can better myself. My goal is to be a AA rider within two years.
