Personal History
First started riding at the age 5 on a PW 50, since then Ive always had a passion for motorcycles. I remember being at some sort of track every weekend watching my dad race, from road racing to motocross. My next bike was a DS 80 then to a YZ 80 at the age of 11. At the age of 13 I started riding big bikes. I mostly just would play ride. I live in a pretty good area in Kansas with a lot of good tracks. Also, being close to Oklahoma I can ride some of the best tracks in that state. Never got into the racing scene. I quit riding when I was in high school never planning on riding again. After high school I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life so I enlisted in the Army for 4 years doing one overseas tour.
I realized I want to start riding again when I got out of the Army. In January, I began ridng the old 250f trying to get back in the grove was tough to begin but was easy to pick it up back up. In February I got a 2015 YZ 250f. After a couple months of riding I figured I would try to give the racing scene a shot this year and see what happens.
Needless to say, throwing my leg back over a dirtbike has been a great choice.
Riding Goals
For the rest of the 2016 year, I plan to compete in the Open Outlaw class for the rest of the summer races and after September 28 also compete in the Vet-25 class.
