Personal History

My name is Charlie Nute. I am 15 years old, and a sophomore at San Rafael High School. I started riding dirt bikes when I was 4 years old, and racing at 11. When I’m not in school, I’m usually racing dirt bikes all over Northern California, and the West Coast. I race in District 36 cross country, enduro, and I’m also chasing the National Hare and Hound series as well as West Hare Scrambles. In 2024 I took 1st place in the B Women's championships for the National Hare and Hound, West Hare Scrambles, District 36 Cross Country, and District 36 Grand Prix. When I'm not racing dirt bikes I am swimming on the varsity swim team. I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, and hanging out with my friends.

Riding Goals

In the next year or two, I would like to race Vegas to Reno, and hopefully someday, I can make it to the ISDE

Competitive Highlights

My most memorable race was the 2024 West Hare Scramble Championship in Wilseyville, CA. I was tied in points for the championship so this race was winner take all. The Women's class started on the second row and I got the hole shot, passed the entire first row lap 1 and managed to catch the hare before the end of lap 1. I ended up riding super smooth with no mistakes putting me in first overall for the race, winning the B Women's championship for WHS, and now I can advance to the A Women’s Class. It was great to see all of my hard work pay of
