Personal History
My name is Charlene and I live in Conroe, TX. I'm the mother of two great kids who also like to ride. I learned to ride when I was 18, but that was in the desert. I'd never ridden motocross until a few years ago and now I'm hooked. Each day I get to ride is like Christmas to me. It never gets old and even on a bad day, life is good.
Riding Goals
My goals for this year is to stay healthy and be consistent. I'd like to continue to work on my corner speed because I believe that's where races are won. I'm currently running the Houston Holeshot Series and I'd like to run a few of the EVO races and possibly a TORCS round or two.
Competitive Highlights
In 2006 I entered my first big race, the WMA Cup Race at Cycle Ranch in Floresville, TX. It was quite an experience to be on a gate with so many girls, many of whom were young enough to be my daughters. My first moto was filled with jitters, but I finished well. I was running as high as third place in the second moto, but crashed. I ended up 9th overall and had an absolute blast.
